- Always have to evaluate a pre-production document e.g. SWOT Anlaysis, Blue Sky Thinking, Moodboards, Mindmap, Visualisation Diagrams, Story Board, Script, Sight Diagram.

Why didn't I get full marks ?


The reason why i didnt get full marks on my visual is because i didnt read the question clearly and made mistakes and had a small amount of time to start over.I also spent more time drawing.Need more connotations

I didn't get full marks on my L03 because i needed to be more specific and answer in more detailed/ extened my answer.

Lo3 Schedules and Tasks

Once a production company understands the client requirement a production schedule is made.


A production schedule includes
  •  Dates; (Mile Stones)  Tasks to be completed
  • Resources - Equipment e.g. Cameras, Cast and Crew
  • Allows You to be organised
  • Produces and Directors use a production Schedule  / Everyone involved will see production schedule.

Project Managing Tool- Allows you to Manage a project.
e.g. Microsoft Exel, which allows you to edit and create easil.

Legal Issues lesson 1

Legal Issues

There are many legal issue that occur in the media industry such as;

Copy Right, Which is a big issue in the media industry so work can not be used by someone else as their own.

Health and Safety - Advisors in the film and T.V industry give advise on health and safety issues within each film and production. They review the companies health and safety policy making sure it is appropriate.

Trade Marks is what defines the company and makes it stand out from other companies.

Equal opportunities - Is an act where people where people should be treated as equal and not looked upon due to their age, gender, disability, religion or ethnic origin.

Consent forms and release dates- e.g. when the photos or film can be released the model/actors should sign consent form

Key personnel are important  job roles within the three stages of production when creating media products.


Pre-=Production This includes all the planning and drafting sytages of a media product

creatijng the script, Storyboards and schedule identifying necessary locations, props, cast members.

Production
 This includes all the actual making of a media product e.g involving filming, photography


Post-Production
This includes any ways in which the media is edited e.g. special effects, Digital manipulaion, Sub- editing processess etc
